Ideal Down Jacket

Adored by many over the years, a staple piece for anyone who enjoys the outdoors - equestrian or not.  The Ideal Down range is perfect for reliable warmth against the elements with an eye-catching quilt that is made from ethically sourced down insulation. Super lightweight and even packable, yet effectively insulating.

Featuring Earth-friendly EcoDry™ water-repellent finish - this technology offers protection against the elements without harmful, environmentally damaging chemicals. Water and wind-resistant garments employ a thin technological coating on lightweight surface fabric to block wind and protect from light rain- read further below on this!

The Ariat VentTek features body mapping to enable air flow and regulate body temperature combined with water and wind-resistant material really makes for a fantastic riding jacket, all year!

The shape and fit of this jacket is flawless and very flattering. I wear a size small and I am a UK 8/10, so is definitely true to size.

The deep navy is gorgeous to the eye and I received so many compliments when wearing this to the yard. It's great for riding, as shorter in the torso it doesn't catch on the cantel. Although this doesn't have a two-way zip, I wouldn't say it interferes with the comfort of your riding.

Featuring two front zipped pockets - we all understand the struggle of trying to fit our phones in our boots when riding, so pockets are a godsend. Decently sized, I can fit my phone and valuables comfortably. It also has two inside slip pockets - super handy for things like treats, whether you're training or dog walking.

I was caught in a thunderstorm with torrential rain whilst at the yard - and did not get wet! I was very grateful that my valuables in my pockets and I, were kept warm and dry. This small investment will be one you won't regret - a superb jacket!

Lexi Sweater

Cuddled up indoors, or out enjoying nature, this soft and silky knit will keep you cosy. A drapey double turtleneck provides extra warmth and looks incredibly stylish. Not to mention the Supima cotton material feels amazing against your skin. The leather-look branding at the hem and small bit detail at the back adds a premium finish. This Lexi sweater will be a fan favourite!

One of the most comfortable and soft sweaters I have tried - I never want to take it off! Keeping you warm enough on cold walks, and breathable enough to be comfortable when riding.  I had a lot of compliments when wearing this as an outfit - not surprising when it looks this lovely.  I found the sweater true to size but would suggest sizing up if you prefer a more relaxed fit. I wear a size small, being a UK 8/10 it felt great.

The drape-style turtle neck is super comfy, and definitely my favourite feature! I love the size of the neck, giving you plenty of room for freedom of movement, looking flattering, and keeping the wind off your neck. I loved riding in this sweater, looking and feeling great, and being able to go for a walk from the yard - absolutely versatile.

At £70 this sweater is a great price, perfect for a present or to just treat yourself! Available in navy or Chesnut.

Harper Waterproof Boot

Treat your feet to luxurious cushioning. These Harper boots make light work of the colder weather and can be worn all day from riding to meeting with friends. The 4LR tech provides lightweight support and stability, paired with the Duratread sole aids to ultimate comfort.  These feature Ariats Waterproof PRO construction which will keep you dry in any downpour.

With a stirrup-friendly outsole and front laces, these make for a great all-around boot. They will be my go-to for winter hacking!

Firstly, I love the Dark Earth colour - the suede look is gorgeous paired with jeans or breeches. Both Harper boots come with two sets of laces, one featuring a winter-coloured pattern (brown, white and burgundy), and one plain brown.  The inside lining, which you can also see coming out the top of the boot, is a tweed-style pattern - a premium finishing touch.

These boots come up slightly higher than usual short-yard boots - and I love it. I feel more supported both on the ground and in the saddle. But, I found this also keeps you cleaner whilst mucking out (especially with shavings!) or walking through muddy fields. I can say the fit of these boots is true to size. Even better, due to the laces, you have room for adjustment and customised fit - allowing more room if you need a wider fit, or great for ease of tightening if needed.

For £155, you get a fantastic practical and stylish boot. Although a small investment, these are sure to last you and remain comfortable all year round.
