Comparing the Motion3 to its distant cousin, the Provent, the first thing you'll notice is the design and colour. The Provent is black, with the new Motion3 being launched in navy.

When trying on both body protectors in the same size - there are clear differences. The back is far more flexible compared to the Provent - the Provent features long blocks along the back, whereas the Motion3 continues its segments. Next, the fittings around the arms and the neck are softer and more flexible and I found the Motion3 to sit more comfortably. The zip on the Motion3 has a more premium finish and durable feel. Not to mention how lightweight this actually feels in comparison to the Provent, when hand in hand - so comfortable to wear, I'd be happy to sit at my desk all day in it!
