YETI was founded in 2006 with a clear and ambitious mission: to build a cooler that could withstand the demands of serious outdoor enthusiasts. Brothers Ryan and Roy Seiders grew up immersed in the great outdoors—hunting, fishing, and attending outdoor trade shows with their father, a teacher-turned-entrepreneur. Their upbringing instilled in them a deep appreciation for quality gear and exploring new frontiers.
