The ComFiTec Range
ComFiTec is WeatherBeeta's most established and widely trusted rug range, covering turnout, stable and under rug options across a variety of fill weights and denier ratings. The range is built around several consistent design features that have become synonymous with the WeatherBeeta name: a memory foam wither relief pad that contours to the horse's shape and lifts the rug away from the wither to reduce rubbing, traditional side gussets for natural freedom of movement, quick clip front closures, elasticated adjustable leg straps and twin low cross surcingles.
Waterproofness and breathability are independently tested on ComFiTec turnout rugs, with the range rated to a minimum hydrostatic pressure of 2000mm and a moisture vapour transmission of 3000g/m2 plus. The three year warranty on hardware, waterproofness and breathability provides additional confidence in the long term performance of the range.
Turnout Rugs
The ComFiTec turnout range covers lightweight, medium and heavyweight fill options across standard neck and combo neck configurations. The Essential and Essential Lite lines provide reliable, practical protection at an accessible price point, while the Plus Dynamic steps up to a 1200 denier triple weave outer with a memory foam wither pad for horses needing more robust construction. At the top of the range, the Ultra Tough II uses a 1680 denier ballistic nylon outer with Teflon coating for the most demanding horses, paired with the WeatherBeeta Cozi Guard for enhanced chest and neck protection.
The Detach-A-Neck system available across much of the range allows the neck cover to be added or removed independently of the main rug, giving owners the flexibility to adjust coverage as temperatures change without needing multiple separate rugs.
