Oily Full Grain Leather and Waterproof Construction
The Wild River range uses a rugged oily full grain leather upper that is flexible, comfortable and develops character with use. The waterproof construction uses gusset technology to keep feet dry, with the long riding boot waterproof from the foot up to a third of the shaft. Full-length protective covers run along the side of the zipper on both the long boot and zipped paddock boot, protecting the zip mechanism from dirt and moisture and extending the life of the fastening through regular outdoor use.
Wild River Long Riding Boot
The Wild River Long Riding Boot is a waterproof full-length riding boot suited to everyday schooling, hacking and active outdoor riding. Hidden elastic runs inside the shaft for a close, contoured fit that accommodates different calf shapes without losing the clean line of the upper. The built-in steel shank provides structural stability underfoot during riding and walking, and the shock-absorbing PU midsole with slip-resistant zones delivers consistent underfoot comfort through long days in the saddle and on the ground. Available in Black and Brown.
Wild River Zipped Paddock Boot
The Wild River Zipped Paddock Boot brings the same oily leather construction and waterproof gusset technology to a shorter format with a zip fastening for quick, secure entry. The ShockX Advanced insole provides ergonomic cushioning underfoot, and the shock-absorbing PU midsole and slip-resistant zones carry over from the long boot for consistent comfort in everyday use. Available in Black and Brown, and suits everyday riding, yard work and active outdoor use. Pairs well with half chaps for a smarter appearance in the school.
Wild River Lace Paddock Boot
The Wild River Lace Paddock Boot provides the same waterproof oily leather construction in a lace fastening format for riders who prefer the adjustable fit and traditional appearance of a laced paddock boot. The ShockX Advanced insole and PU midsole carry over from the rest of the range, with the same slip-resistant zones and waterproof construction. Available in Black.
ShockX Advanced Insole
All Wild River styles feature Mountain Horse's ShockX Advanced insole, an ergonomically designed cushioning footbed that provides underfoot support and comfort throughout the day. Combined with the shock-absorbing PU midsole, the Wild River delivers a noticeably cushioned ride that reduces fatigue through extended use.
Fit and Sizing
The Wild River range is available in EU foot sizes. For the long riding boot, refer to the Mountain Horse shaft sizing guide and measure calf circumference as well as foot length to ensure the correct fit. The paddock boots are available across standard EU sizes.
