NEW from Collegiate, we introduce the Vogue bridle. Made from high-quality European leather, this bridle is super soft from day one. The headpiece is the main feature of this product - an anatomical headpiece, with extra soft, large-covering padding. The wider shape between the ears, on the pole, has the purpose of distributing pressure evenly creating, the optimal comfort and support for your horse when riding. 

 

 

The well-padded nose band is curved, not only to complement and contour your horse's face but also bypasses all the main sensitive facial nerves - fantastic technical research from the brand. This curve offers ultimate comfort and protection.

 

                       

 

 

I was excited to try this on my mare, as she can be quite sensitive to any change regarding her bridle and bit. I was very impressed!

From opening the parcel, the leather is extremely soft to touch, easy to put on the first time, and to do the buckles up - I was super pleased I didn't need to put any conditioner or oil into the leather to help shape it. I also liked that the buckles were on both sides of the bridle, making it easy to adjust for your horse, whatever the shape or size!

As you must agree, this looks fantastic on, we received many compliments. Very complementary to the face. I loved how the curves along the pole, browband, and nose band contoured the face. My new competition bridle for sure! My mare loved this bridle. She felt light and free when schooling - super relaxed in the contact and head carriage.

The only concern I had was sizing. Being a small thoroughbred at 15.1hh, my mare has a small head and pony-like features. She will usually wear size Cob/M in headcollars and bridles, however, I had to size up to a Full in the Vogue. I also tried the Full size on another horse, who is over 16hh, and it fits perfectly. So, if in doubt, try the size up.
