The Pro Hunter Light Mid GTX boot is a mid-height boot in extremely hardwearing Cordura. This has the advantage over leather of low maintenance, as well as being lightweight, very quick drying and highly breathable. The boots are also outstandingly comfortable and have a medium-stiff sole that provides good support. The boots have a field-tested, waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and are designed and manufactured in Europe.
THE DETAILS:
- Despite their height, the Pro Hunter Light Mid GTX boots only weigh around 730 g per boot, which makes them very comfortable on long treks. They have a medium-length, 8”/20 cm shaft and a standard-width last.
- The Pro Hunter Light Mid GTX boots feature a waterproof GORE-TEX Sierra membrane. During manufacture, all boot membranes are tested in a waterbath, to ensure they are waterproof. Harkila then perform a 30-minute centrifuge test on a 5% sample of total boot production, as a further guarantee that the membrane is of the highest possible quality.
- The boot’s upper is made from durable and quick-drying Cordura, and the soles are in semi-stiff Vibram® Aftersky, which ensures good grip.
- The midsoles of the boots are shock-absorbing, for long-distance walking comfort even on very rugged ground. They are reinforced with full-length rands made from an extra robust material and they have reinforced stitching.
La botte Pro Hunter Light Mid GTX est une botte mi-haute en Cordura extrêmement résistant. Celui-ci présente l'avantage par rapport au cuir de nécessiter peu d'entretien, tout en étant léger, à séchage très rapide et hautement respirant. Les bottes sont également extrêmement confortables et ont une semelle moyennement rigide qui offre un bon soutien. - Malgré leur taille, les chaussures Pro Hunter Light Mid GTX ne pèsent qu'environ 730 g par chaussure, ce qui les rend très confortables lors de longs treks. Elles ont une tige de longueur moyenne de 8"/20 cm et une forme de largeur standard.
- Les bottes Pro Hunter Light Mid GTX sont dotées d'une membrane imperméable GORE-TEX Sierra. Lors de la fabrication, toutes les membranes des bottes sont testées au bain-marie, afin de garantir leur étanchéité. Harkila effectue ensuite un test de centrifugation de 30 minutes sur un échantillon de 5 % de la production totale de bottes, comme garantie supplémentaire que la membrane est de la meilleure qualité possible.
- La tige de la botte est en Cordura résistant et à séchage rapide, et les semelles sont en Vibram® Aftersky semi-rigide, ce qui assure une bonne adhérence.
- Les semelles intermédiaires des bottes sont amortissantes, pour un confort de marche longue distance même sur des terrains très accidentés. Ils sont renforcés par des bords sur toute la longueur fabriqués à partir d'un matériau extra robuste et ils ont des coutures renforcées.
