The Esme MS1 Pro combines triple standard protection (including PAS 015) with MIPS technology and a lightweight strengthened ABS outershell. Riders are offered the highest level of protection for all disciplines, with an independent test rating the MS1 Pro to be 37% safer than other helmets on the market (Folksam 2021).

Ten ventilation slots and a removable washable headband add to the comfort and functionality of this new jockey skull. Finished in a graphite grey paint, with rose gold emblem badge.

Comes with a free matching This Esme silk with rose gold embroidery.

What is MIPS helment technology?

MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is an additional brain protection system.

Designed to add protection against rotational motion (or kinematics) transmitted to the brain from angled impacts to the head, the way most riders fall. MIPS’ added protection system has been proven to reduce rotational motion when implemented in a helmet by redirecting energies and forces otherwise transmitted to the brain.

Many Charles Owen helmet models feature a fully removable headband, which is machine washable (30ºC) and replaceable. The helmet liner is designed to fit each helmet size increase and is attached using premium hook and loop closure to ensure that no pressure points exist to cause the rider discomfort.

We recommend riders use these replacement headbands to refresh their riding hat and ensure a snug fit.

Important: Replacing your headband does not extend the protection offered by your helmet. It’s essential that you replace your riding helmet after five years.

Refused or Undeliverable Shipments: If a shipment is refused due to unpaid customs duties or import charges, or if a parcel is returned to us due to:
- Failure to pay customs fees
- An incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided at checkout
- Failure to collect the parcel from a courier depot or collection point
any return shipping costs, customs charges, clearance fees, storage fees, or carrier handling charges incurred will be deducted from the refund amount. Original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable. If return charges exceed the value of the goods, we reserve the right to withhold the refund.

Returns

Items can be returned to us within 30 days of purchase in a clean, undamaged, unused and resaleable condition (including original packaging).
