Merino is unique amongst yarns, being much finer than most traditional woollen yarns, with fibres that are encased in many tiny overlapping scales. This makes it a supremely water repellent yarn on the outside. The inner core, though, is very absorbent, meaning it has wicking qualities that can be harnessed to keep your feet cool and comfy by wicking it away through a hydrophilic membrane.

Combined with Polycolon, a lightweight performance yarn made from PU that repels moisture and dries quickly, these socks are the ultimate in comfort whether you’re walking or riding. They have a thermal rating of 2, which is ideal for slightly cooler weather too.
