The fly mask is designed with two different types of mesh. There is one which acts as the visor over the eyes and face. This mesh is thicker than the other to give it rigidity and structure to stay away from the sensitive structures on your horses’ face. This mesh also offers over 70% UV protection against the sun’s rays.
The second mesh is a softer, elasticated one which sits around the jaw and over the ears and poll. Equilibrium wanted something comfortable for the horse, but also something close fitting so that the pesky flies couldn’t get underneath the mask.
‘Horse-shaped' ears provide ample space for your horse whether they have small or large ears.
Lastly, the Midi Horse Fly Mask with ears features strategically placed darts. These darts are positioned on the front of the mask and keep it clear of the eyes and eyelashes.
Customising your horse’s Midi Fly Mask
Equilibrium has introduced additions to the Field Relief range to allow you to customise the fly mask to yours and your horse’s needs. If you'd like to add a nosepiece to this fly mask, take a look at the Detachable Nosepiece. If your horse is bothered by the flies, but doesn't need UV protection, you might want to consider the Muzzle Fringe instead.

Bij het ontwerp van de Field Relief Midi met oren is aan elk detail gedacht:
Houdt meer dan 70% van de schadelijke UV-straling tegen.
Biedt uitstekende ruimte voor ogen en wimpers.
Zachte vulling bij de voorhoofdband en neusriem voorkomt schuren.
Verstelbare sluitingen onder de wangen en achter de oren zorgen voor een perfecte pasvorm.
Zachte, elastische rand om te voorkomen dat vliegen en insecten onder het masker terechtkomen.

De inspiratiebron achter het Midi-vliegenmasker met oren.
Het vliegenmasker is ontworpen met twee verschillende soorten gaas. Het ene deel fungeert als vizier over de ogen en het gezicht. Dit gaas is dikker dan het andere om het stevigheid en structuur te geven, zodat het uit de buurt blijft van de gevoelige delen van het gezicht van je paard. Dit gaas biedt ook meer dan 70% UV-bescherming tegen de zonnestralen.
Het tweede gaas is zachter en elastisch en zit rond de kaak en over de oren en de nek. Equilibrium wilde iets comfortabels voor het paard, maar ook iets dat goed aansluit, zodat de vervelende vliegen niet onder het masker kunnen komen.
‘Paardvormige’ oren bieden voldoende ruimte voor je paard, of het nu kleine of grote oren heeft.
Ten slotte is het Midi-vliegenmasker met oren voorzien van strategisch geplaatste plooien. Deze plooien bevinden zich aan de voorkant van het masker en zorgen ervoor dat het masker uit de buurt van de ogen en wimpers blijft.
Het Midi-vliegenmasker van uw paard aanpassen
Equilibrium heeft het Field Relief-assortiment uitgebreid, zodat u het vliegenmasker kunt aanpassen aan uw behoeften en die van uw paard. Als u een neusstuk aan dit vliegenmasker wilt toevoegen, kijk dan eens naar het afneembare neusstuk. Als uw paard last heeft van vliegen, maar geen UV-bescherming nodig heeft, kunt u in plaats daarvan de Muzzle Fringe overwegen.
