What inspired the Hardy Turnout Boots?
These tough turnout chaps were made as a result from a request from a popular dressage yard. As some competition yards do, the horses had limited turnout. So, when the horses did go out, you can image they threw some shapes! Hardy Chaps were designed to help them enjoy their field time, safely.
What material is used in the Hardy Chaps Turnout Boots?
The 7mm neoprene, lined on the outside with a textured fabric and with polyester on the inside, is tough on the outside and comfortable on the inside protecting your horse from potential injury. The material is fast drying, so they are easy to wash mud off and dry for the following day.
Why do the Hardy Chaps fit so far down the leg.
For maximum coverage and protection, the Hardy Chaps extend from below the knee/hock all the way down to the coronet band. This means the correct size is essential to ensure the entire lower leg is protected.

Caring for the Hardy Chaps:
Machine washable at 30 degrees, and quick to dry means they are easy to care for. However, for day to day, giving them a quick wash off once your horse has come in is best practice if they are particularly muddy. While they do dry quickly, having a second set on standby can help if the weather is particularly bad, cold, and wet!

Wat was de inspiratiebron voor de Hardy Turnout Boots
Deze stevige buitenlaarzen zijn gemaakt naar aanleiding van een verzoek van een populaire dressuurstal. Zoals bij sommige wedstrijdstallen het geval is, mochten de paarden maar beperkt naar buiten. Dus toen de paarden eenmaal naar buiten mochten, kun je je voorstellen dat ze er flink tegenaan gingen! De Hardy Chaps zijn ontworpen om hen te helpen veilig van hun tijd in de wei te genieten.
Van welk materiaal zijn de Hardy Chaps Turnout Boots gemaakt
Het 7 mm dikke neopreen, aan de buitenkant gevoerd met een gestructureerde stof en aan de binnenkant met polyester, is stevig aan de buitenkant en comfortabel aan de binnenkant en beschermt je paard tegen mogelijk letsel. Het materiaal droogt snel, waardoor je de modder er gemakkelijk af kunt wassen en ze de volgende dag weer droog zijn.

Voor maximale bedekking en bescherming lopen de Hardy Chaps door vanaf onder de knie/spronggewricht helemaal tot aan de kroonrand. Dit betekent dat de juiste maat essentieel is om ervoor te zorgen dat het gehele onderbeen beschermd is.

Ze zijn machinewasbaar op 30 graden en drogen snel, waardoor ze gemakkelijk te onderhouden zijn. Voor dagelijks gebruik is het echter aan te raden om ze even af te spoelen zodra uw paard binnenkomt, vooral als ze erg modderig zijn. Hoewel ze snel drogen, kan het handig zijn om een tweede set achter de hand te hebben als het weer bijzonder slecht, koud en nat is!
